WOU STUDENTS! - click here to “Like” your campus radio station on FB!

Western Oregon University has a radio station, KWOU, which is about to enter its third year! We are always welcoming new members to our team, so please stop by Student Media if you are interested in DJing on air or at school events, covering news stories, or working behind the scenes! We embrace all genres and interests, so do not hesitate to contact us! If you are interested in tuning in to any of our shows, please like our facebook page for updates on each DJs fall schedule. A KWOU website is currently in the works, so be sure to keep an eye out for that as well.

Welcome new students, listeners, and team members!

Be sure to drop by Student Media (downstairs of the Werner University Center) in the fall to learn more about our school radio station, KWOU

KWOU is run by Western students and can be listened to online during the school year. We also DJ campus events!

My name is Barbara and I am entering my third year at WOU. I host two shows called The 8-Bit Tidbit and Themed Thursdays; my schedule will be posted as we near the fall term. I love hearing from listeners and fellow WOU students. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments about my shows, KWOU in general, or even about Western Oregon University, please feel free to talk to me!

At KWOU, we are a growing team of different tastes and interests. KWOU is a great place to get involved for new students, especially those interested in any of the following: journalism, music, and communication. But really, anyone and everyone is welcome!

Please follow my blog for more information as the school year approaches us, and I encourage you to be an active student at Western by listening to KWOU! :)
